I have FINALLY managed to track down a male speckled racer, YAY!!
Well technically i found it a few weeks ago but it was sexed as definately male today - bonus
So, next step is phone TNT see about international services (anyone else know the score here?) or it'll be time to arrange euro zoo visits etc OR possibly wait till the next show and pick up on route.
Either way atleast i have found one now! _________________ TFA

I'm guessing you will have ZERO joy with TnT, certainly if outside of UK.
Best of luck getting him though. _________________

Thanks Pete but i'll be there aswell, just didnt really want to wait all that time.
Scott, i have no idea about TNT in europe as i haven't had time to ring them yet but you're probably right Still, as i can collect from a business address within the UK it HAS to be worth a try
Looks like my options are limited, maybe time to go visit a few zoos? _________________ TFA

Get some pics up of the racer. I've been eyeing these up for a while but had the cash. Glades had one on their lists for a while but it was a little dear as I remember. If you do find a mate and breed them I'd be interested in babies.

Join the list!!!
Since my search began i have encountered FAR FAR FAR more people who said "if you find any let me know as i'd like some" or "When you breed them let me know as i'll have some" and even the one who said he'd take any and all i could provide (and no, this was not a time i was talking to myself )
As it happens the one i found may not be a speckled racer after all It is definately Drymobius but it looks like a different species, unfortunately, out of the 5 species and 5 seperate sub-species i only know what 2 look like (one being the speckleds) and it is neither of these.
As i don't know for sure i don't want to upset him or cause un-needed waves by telling him it isn't what he thought it is and i don't know what it is. That said i HATE not being able to tell him it isnt a speckled. Crappy dilemma i know _________________ TFA
