Last week one of my ackies laid her eggs, she wasnt as big as usual when gravid but when i dug out the eggs i was supprised to only find one buried.Well before going to work i saw the other female in the same viv digging and she was real big, so when i got home from work i could clearly see she had laid her eggs, but after removing the egg box and searching right through it not a single egg in there, so it seems one of my males has aquired the taiste of monitor eggs. It seems now i am going to have to keep splitting them up when gravid, its a shame really as they get along well as a group otherwise, anybody else experienced this with ackies? _________________ www.Reptilebreeder.co.uk

Not had the problem myself but know many who have had this problem it sucks but it is easily solved by as you say removeing the male for a while which you will likly fine will do the group some good anyway in terms of allowing the females some time without being harrased by the male to bulk up etc and also allows the male time to relax a little so when he goes back he is even more ready to nail them females! _________________ I’m Just So Misunderstood
