Just wondering if a 3ft viv would be big enough for one?
How much would I expect to pay?
Supplement regime?

Don't ask much do I! Laughing

Thanks!

3ft x 2ft x 18" would be fine for one or two so long as you set it up well.

Dust the insects with nutrabol or nekton and feed rodents a 2 or 3 times a week.

Baby yellow ackies are from £100 for babies (I have some 6 -8" ones for £140 Wink ) . Shop prices are from £150 for babies.

Big enough?
The height would mean there could big basking stack!

Newspaper substrate with a tub of eco-earth and sand okay?

Thanks,

not really, it's the width and length you need, not really the height.

I would use sand, I use calcium carbonate (lime stone grit, horse feed supplement), I keep all my monitors on it and have had no problems.

yep, add a basking stack, they really do the job great.

Thanks,

How messy are they? (How often even! Daily? Shocked )

How often are full clean outs needed?

I don't find mine that messy at all, I sieve the sand each week and wipe down the walls and glass. The sand can then be replaced monthly or as needed (not often to be honest).

The most annoying thing is they all tend to mess their water bowls up within hours of putting fresh water in, this is normally just from sand 'flicked' in but also quite often drowned insects.

Not sure really.
I'd love one, and was just reasearching practicality/possibility.
