here he is I've had him almost a week

hes in the blue but had managed to tip his water everywhere so while i was giving him a clean i grabbed some snaps

thought they ed be nice to compare to after hes shed

hes got a really unusual light patch of coloration on his neck anyone got any ideas

nice, is that missing scales on the white patch? or a small scar?

Looks like he's gonna shed soon, let's have a look after that Wink

nope its its coloration it seems to have more cream colored scales elsewhere i don't know if it significant

You get this on a few royals. We had a couple go through phases where these patches would develop and then be gone in a couple of sheds, i know loads of others that it has happened on.

well see but i know its been there for quite a few sheds so i cant see it disappearing in fact he seems to be developing more patches lower down

i wondered if it was a genetic condition like you see sometimes in black people where they loose patches of pigmentation
