basically what ever you need to buy a reptile from someone in the UK, is the same as what you need in Hamm or any member EEC country.
You have to remember we are one BIG happy nation of Europeans...Free Trade! _________________

Excellent. Although ordering reptiles from europe means you have to pay around £300 extra in exportation expenses?????
So there are no limits at all? When I come back into the UK, I won't have any extra charges? |

I was under the impression, that you had to pay exportation fees if you ordered reptiles and was having them shipped to you from europe and america???? |

shipping reptiles from Europe would result in only the shipping fee (i.e plane fare), shipping reptiles from the USA would result in shipping fees, VAT, clearance fees, DEFRA fees, AQS fees and possible CITES fees.
I would always be tempted to drive over to Europe to collect, rather than ship. Obviously with USA you have no choice _________________

That's good, I've seen several reptiles advertised in europe that are being sold at really good prices. Next year I'll be making a few trips.
Thanks Scott. |
