Should all rodents given to royals be no bigger than the widest part of the snake? It's just what I've been told but would appreciate your comments...Thanks to all.. |

Hi Stuart....i was recommended a rescue reptile place in Tatsfield near Westerham.....The woman there gave me this info but i've had so many different versions of what to feed him and how and what size viv to get, at least on here i'm getting advice from experienced Royal owners.....info off the net has been so contradicting we got too confused.... |

Unfortunately you will always be given conflicting advice...most people on here will reply with what works for them..so just because its different from other peoples methods doesn't mean its wrong..more than one way to skin a cat as it were!
In answer to your question i personally always try to feed a food item that is around the same size of the snakes girth at the widest point..this isn't a written law but a good rule of thumb.. there are exceptions to this but with regards to royals I go by it. _________________
