Hi everyone. I've been told to feed him/her 2 fluffs a week changing days to not make a routine as they are opportunist feeders and to leave him/her after feeding for 2 days. Is this good advice as would love to handle Syd a lot more....Thanks |

Hi Lez welcome to the forum..with regards to changing days I personally don't feel the need to alternate days..with regards to the amount as long as the rodent isn't too big then I would see no problem feeding 2..personally i just feed mine one suitably sized prey item..and you may find that with royals some can be reluctant to taking multiples..not all but some will only take one item of food. I offer mine every 5-7 days..not always on the same day but this is down to me forgetting and nothing scientific Also as for handling..I leave them at least 24 hours before handling unnless it it is really really nescessary, _________________

i feed all my snakes once a week and one item of suitable size each feed and dont panic if they miss a meal through choice as sometimes my royals miss the odd feed its a common thing _________________ boas and burms |
