My Iguana lives in the cupboard under the stairs (sounds funny but quite a clever little conversion really). It is 7ft high, 6 ft wide and 3½ ft deep, we are planning on doing a re-fit on the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May. I have most things planned out and painted etc in preparation but there is one thing I haven't yet decided on. I have been given a shower tray, and initially thought, great that will make a great pool for Ig, I will seal the plug hole and fit it into his tank, fill shallow amount of water for him to poop in. But then I thought, I am making things to hard to clean for myself, now I can't decide. I have a small hoover that will suck water so emtiying shouldn't be too much of a problem. I currently go in there and clean up his poop every day so that don't worry me either. Do you think that it is a good idea for me to fit this in with him or not.
By the way you may need to know (or not need to know depending on how interested you are) Iggi is approx 5ft s-t. He used to love taking showers, but now we have a shower fitted over the bath hates getting into the bath, even if we use the shower for him, maybe he'll remember the good ol' days.
Sorry it was so long, and that I started babbling at the end, but it may all be useful info fo you to base your opinions on. _________________ Proud owner of one monster of an Iguana, and two of the cutest little Anoles you have ever seen. |
