Here's my 2 bassies. Female on right is getting very fat, still waiting for her to lay.
Doubt if I will have any success as the last 5 clutches have been infertile.
Think he's firing blanks. Sad

Hi Scott,
Ive been late finding them a few times and they were all hard and turning yellow, could have been laid 2 days, she always lays they in the most hidden places, never in the nest box Sad
Those I have found have gone off within 2days.
This pic show a clutch the day I saved them, but had gone by end of a week. This was a clutch in 2003

Shame, they are great as CB babies. Is that perlite they are set up on? Looks a lot wetter than what I would use. Hope you have better luck in the future.
