hi, i've just given my beardies there usuall veggie snack they've both eaten it but one of them her throat has swollen up she doesnt seem in any distress and has gone back on her usuall baskin spot i'm a bit worried as i've never seen this before can anyone help? it was only a bit of cabbage and broccoli she's still brething o.k

check to make sure nothing is lodged in the throat, I had a small beardie swallow a piece of cabbage stalk and it got stuck in the throat, had to remove it with tweezers as the throat started to swell. Beardie was fine afterwards.

thanks scott but luckily it just cleared itself and she's fine now it was like she was storing it like a hamster does Exclamation

its common if bd's eat too much too quickly they store food in there throats if they think its there last meal for awhile it's animal instinct in the wild
