Is there a correct way to crop and resize photo's, do you crop first then resize or resize first or does it not matter, as i thought it changed the sharpness of the photo's.
Also can anyone recommend a good photo software package, nothing too complicated to use though, i was in PC world the other day and there doing a special on Correl paint shop, this anygood?

corel is very good and reasonably priced..I use nikon capture though, but did try a free download of corel pspx which I quite liked. Most popular is photoshop but it can be very confusing if you dont know what you are doing..I prefer to get the pictures pretty much how i want them straight out of the camera..as for cropping there are various ways of doing it and most software allows you to set size and resolution for whatever you intend to do with the pics..here is link to free trial Jas..just create an account and try out the software. Cool
