I was wondering whether the exo tera night glo bulbs are ok for use with cresties as i would like to be able to view him at night and this seem the most suited option. Also does any1 know where i might be able to get hold of a female (any age) in a month? |

i think having a light on when there active would stress them, mine dont seem to move about as much when i turn room light on as soon as it goes out there active again, thats just my opinion from observing mine.. |

certainly agree that a bright light will disturb them and affect their 'night time' behaivour but a dim light or red / blue light should be fine, just make sure it's no more than a gentle 'moon lit' night type of brightness. _________________

I used to have a 15 watt pygmy bulb on at night for my crestie and didn't seem to stress him at all..carried on behaving as normal..but it did only give off a very dim light. _________________
