Pics 9,10 11 he is housed separately now as one of the others kept picking on him. I was sold them as a group of 1.3, but I wonder if it actually 2.2.
Oddly enough there are only two in the group that have a high amount of red spotting all over their bodies, the rest only have a few red spots. One of the two with the higher red spotting is the one that I had to remove as he kept getting nipped, two males?
I have tried sexing them, they all look the same to me! Not very good at sexing gex.
The group of three get on well, the odd nip here and there but nothing serious.
I am new to day gex so any help or advice much appreciated thank you. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

They are great to watch, very attractive species.
Did you find they were nippy with each other? _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

Thanks Scott.
I am not sure but I think they are something called high reds? The pics don't really do them justice in terms of colours. I've been having a crap picture taking week! _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

They would chase each other to mate, large enclosure and plenty of foliage always made sure that didn't happen as much for me _________________ Regards James Stroud |
