Back on topic though cant believe how that junk can ruin someone so quickly..remember seeing a programme on it once and an ex addict said the thing is when they are on it they look in the mirror and actually think they look good!!!

Stu when you refer to meth what drug do u actually mean. I may be being dense here. would not be the first time , but to me meth could mean MDMA, methylated spirits, methadone, methadextrine, in fact loadsa diff type drugs etc.
Commonly from my understanding meth usually refers to methamphetamine.
Long term use quickly eradicates vitamin c / e and affects uptake of said vitamins and healing hence spotty faces, open sores etc. Quite a nasty drug in the long term and highly addictive. Will quite often lead to drug induced psychosis. I have worked with those that have suffered from DIP. Not nice poor sods.
Kids really should be educated about this in a balanced but realistic way.
The more you hide something the more it increases the mystique. Just driving the drug culture underground. Sometimes the best one can hope for is that users do it in a safe and educated manner, and that facilities and support are provided to enable this? Controversial view?
This view may stir up a debate. Interesting though.
