awsum, bout time more of these were around,

yopu wait and see just how fast they eat its crazy

my females wre on weaner rats and adult mice respectivly, and they are litterly gone in less than 15-20 seconds, and there looking for anouther,

may i ask who bred your animals as there are very few that are working with this species, i have 1.2 and have just put together a pair and all looks well so far, both are coiled up together nicely my big female is coming up to shed as i type she is blue like the pic stu put up of my snakes cheers bud Wink , im expecteing them to copulate soon after she sheds, i very much doubt ill see copulation as they are a very secretive species,

but all of the best with youyr quest on a male took me a year to find anouther one LOL well worth it, as he is doong everythink he should be doing at the moment, i.e the side to side head shakes when introduced to the fmela, the vibration, and the suddern gerking movements head bobbing, all things you should look out for when puting them together it is belived tro be a sign that the male is aware that he knows that the female is in the versinity,

awsum species and the very best of luck.... Cool

k

i had 3 CB babys a few years ago that were breed from my females i have here a friend of mine breed these animals, but unfortunitly he left it a little bit to late to feed the babies there for my attemps were futile, i got all 3 if i rember rightly feeding but all 3 still died

pic belo is one of the babies which had just struck fed......

with any bit of luck i should have some of these wee critters of my own this year Rolling Eyes

wonderful so if i have any questions i can ask you Very Happy we got these off a friend of ours bless his heart and hes expecting some young this year we are getting an unrelated male from him as well to go with our girls when they are older. it was the irredescene that got us interested in the first place and the fact that they are such unusual snakes.

congrats on your successful introduction with the male I'm new to these snakes but it sounds very similar to when other species of male snake are introduced which is excellent i bet you are beaming i would be in your shoes Very Happy

if you have any quires yer fire away with the questions if i can help then great,

just to pre warn you they dont bite, but have a habit of flintching and head butting which is comical LOL, when i say they dont bit what i mean is ive never been bitten by them i dont know about other animnals, mione just like trying to scare me hehe

from the info ive been tolde about they happen to be quite a slow growing species, when ya get um feeding you generaly cant stop them, one of my female will usually only take fresh kill mice from the tongs but on occation will strike feed a defrost adult mouse, the other bigger female will happily eat what ever is left in her cage, usually a weaner rat or a couple of adult mice all are gone in the morning, male on the other hand wa ssold as a spiradic live rat pup feeder that insidently i got eating defrost strike feeding withing a week so that wast that bad but he does feed every time offered, out of a month he may only feed 2-3 times but he on adult mice so it isnt to bad,

k
