Can some one who keeps this species, please, tell me from their experience with these reptiles what length/size they grow to - Including the tail.... |

They can range from 7 inches to 10 inches normal. 11-12 inches in not unheard of for a normal leo, but that is on the large end. Over 12 inches would most likely be a giant, or have giant lines.
Males tend to be larger and longer, but not always. I have some females who are the largest leos I have ever had. I have a male who is 110 grams and almost 11 1/2 inches long - I was told his mother was a giant, but since I did not see her or know her lines, I won't claim 100 percent he is. I have some females who are nice and healthy, but only weigh 60-70 grams and are 7-8 inches long. Just depends.
I own, raise and do rescue work with leos - among other herps. I have posted some pics of a few of mine if you care to look: I hope you don't mind me posting some pics for you to see.
