Hi folks, I can see a few of you keep these, so can you tell me please are they able to be handled? What's their temperament like? I've read a few care sheets but nothing tells me their general personality.
Thanks.

All the ones I've ever dealt with have not been handable. To give a clue their one of their other common names is the Barking Gecko, when ever they were touched they nearlly always let out a little 'bark' and weren't afraid to bite. I would say they definately weren't a pet in the sense of a leopard gecko but do make nice display animals when they come out. I may be biased because they always managed to bite me _________________ Regards James Stroud |

Tut tut James
Mine are so tame, honestly....
More shy then the Leopard and the Crested Geckos that I keep, but lovely nether the less.

i treat mine as display animals but when i do need to handle them they seem fairly tolerant. one of my males nearly always barks when first disturbed but has never attempted to bite |

Same here. Mine will always tolerate mild handling, but if you do start to get a bit rough with them, they WILL let you know! _________________ Well butter my bum and call me a biscuit! |
