I've just finishing setting up a new home for Webster my B. Smithi
I love these Exo Terra viv's, they look so good.
Any feedback would be appreciated _________________ Paul D

Thats a very handsome smithi indeed
They're pretty good those exo terra viv's are'nt they? Lots of people use them and they seem suitable for a wide variety of small animals. _________________ You can't trust the snake......but you can always trust the snake to be a snake. |

dont mean to sound critical, the viv looks great, but isnt that water dish a bit large in comparison to the hide size?, i dont know what size you red-knee is ,but i would advise against a water-bowl wider than the spiders leg-span,my own preference is for peat rather than vermiculite, but thats a personal thing, usually the spiders dont give a monkeys.
like i say i dont mean to be critical, and i agree the exo-terras are great vivs. _________________ we all have the spark of divinity within us, but are we responsible enough to use it? |

I agree with you on that one
Also when vermiculite is dry it can can absorb moisture from the air making the habitat of the spider extremely dry .... something worth thinking about. _________________ People laugh at me because I am different

Thanks for your comments,
I think it is the hide that is too small really. The water dish is an ok size for my spider but I could do with re thinking the size of the hide _________________ Paul |
