Veer Very nice colours/markings how the heck you remember all the different morphs is beyond me. For those who have read my other threads on ig's just a quick one saying about mine he has had a second operation to hopefully correct whatever is slowly making his tail die off. hopefully after having a few inches of healthy flesh also removed this will cure the problem.
For those who haven't seen his apartment viv check it out here it's still under construction http://myiguana.hopto.org |

from every group we know wich animals comes from where, and we keep good record off wich group is breeding with who, so people who buy one off our babies, can know wich animals are the parents _________________ www.bcreptiles.com

Yes good record keeping is a must, but with the amount your breeding your going to need a hell of alot of trays/vivs to keep all the hatchlings seperate so you know who they come from, thats alot of water bowls and cleaning out to do.
I number all my eggs so that if an unusuall one hatches i know where it came from, but after that they go in together according to there size, but then again im only keeping a few morphs so you can pretty much tell where they came from anyhow. |

its a lot off work, but i am not alone.... my girlfriend and i both work with the animals...
we need a lot of trays, but we have plenty of those
we place a max off 2 or 3 babies max in one tray, and only if they are from the same line.
that way al the animals have plenty off room, and are not stressed from crowding
that way we can be sure wich animals belongs to wich group.
its a lot off paperwork also, but we get a very good respons from everyone.
last year we had to track 18 groups, now we have over 40, but also have a little more experience _________________ www.bcreptiles.com

Yup you do have alot of trays
It helps alot when your partner is as enthusiastic with the hobby as you are, my wife helps me out alot with them, but she is not so keen on the crickets, give her time |
