Millipede Identification Please

Please see what species you think this is. The pics don't show colours very well unfortunately.

I think it may be a Stripe legged olive, Telodeinopus aoutii that comes from Ghana, Tanzania and Togo. Not sure though.


it is approx 9-10cm long, silvery green colour body, segments very lightly banded with an orange/light brown band. Legs are stripped pale white and deep orange / brown, antennae same colour as legs.

At a first guess I'd say its Telodeinopus aoutii or Striped legged olive pede. Very nice Rick- still havent got my pink ones yet but I'm looking.

Thanks Jan, I have been told by a couple of people now that yes it is the Telodeinopus aoutii Very Happy

Good luck with the pinks, Spirostreptus brachycerus?

If you hear off any Madagascan Fire Pedes or Asian Zebra pedes going anywhere please let me know, thanks, there is also a nice colourful vietnamese pede the name escapes me at the moment I would like some of them to! Not that I am greedy you understand Very Happy Thanks Jan
