Hi here are some pics of my refurbed crestie viv. My wife is the artist in the family and she decided to use sone live plants in the set up the substrait is coco-humus and the plants are ficus, bromeliad, spathyphylum, and a prayer plant.

This is our first attempt at live plants in a viv so we will have to wait and see. In saying that the temperature and the lighting we have used in the viv is suitable for plant growth. I have kept the plants in their pots so if I do need to replace them it will be really easy to pull a pot out and replace it with a new one.
Anyhow Gomez seems to approve so it was well worth the effort.

Did your wife self build a yemen viv? I may be confused with someone else, if so sorry.
