my poor yemen looks like he has been knocked in the jaw...havent noticed this before and im sure i would have as i spend alot of time with him.
his jaw looks out of line on one side only, he is eating ok, and drinking enough and looks otherwise healthy, so dont know what it could be.

Can you post a pic? Is the area swollen? Abscess, mouth infection? They can suffer from a form of mouth rot, but I doubt and hope it is not that.

If he is acting in his normal way and is eating and drinking OK, it may not be anything to serious, hard to say without seeing him. Has he had a fall recently that you have noticed? i hope he is ok.

Rick

its not swollen, and i cant take pic as no camera...sorry...
oh god he fell off the window sill a few weeks back, but he landed on his feet, all 4 of them.. unless he hit his mouth on the way down..oh god i feel awful now as he may have fractured his jaw, i dont think its mouth rot as i have seen inside his mouth and it looks ok, i dont want to take him to the vet really as it hink it would stress him out, what do you think?

Very hard to say Linda, it may well be the fall that has done it. Just so difficult without seeing the wee fella. I would hate to say no dont go to the vet then something horrid happen to him.

Chams are very good at masking when something is wrong, quite often untill it is to late. I dont mean to panic you by saying that.

Perhaps a trip to the vets may be worth peace of mind ? At least you will know if there is a problem or not.
