I've had some great advice so far, and I'll be keeping hold of these until they really are beyond hope anyway, but it'd be great to get some more opinions if you have the time!!

The one on the left is about 8 days older than the one on the right, but when laid looked the same. The one on the right has remained the same white colour so far though.

one on left looks infertile, the other looks fine. I'd leave the pair of them, could be 160 plus days to hatch depending on temps.

Checked again today, and the one on the left is getting worse unfortunately!

Is it safe to leave it in there, or is it worth taking it out?

I've never had a bad egg kill a good egg so don't worry about it, however if your happy that it's a dud, then cut it open and have a peek or bin it.

Gutted! Both look duff now!

Ah well, we'll get her fattened up for whenever she next gets to see a male!
