I was thinking of going to the local woods to get some big branches for my new mesh viv. Are there any trees I should avoid, or any that are particularly suitable for chameleons? |

I personally use almost any good branch I find. Just make sure it has no vegatation still on it when you put it in the cage. Also look out for sharp points etc.
To clean it, place it in the bath and pour boiling water over it, or if small enough put it in a chest freezer.
If you are still worried about which to use, stick with apple tree branches that HAVEN'T been sprayed with anything. |
