I´ll take the chance to advertise my own site..

This is a little site that I have made. I am a small breeder of European Reptiles and Amphibians, so the site is about me and the animals that I keep.
The site also have a discussionforum such as this, but just for herptiles in Europe.

All interested are very welcome!!

Terrarium Morbidum

Warm regards,

Great site, great pictures. Really interesting collection too. European stuff is not seen often enough in my opinion. Cool

Thank you, and thank you.. Yeah, I´m kinda hooked on the Europeans.. I totally agree.. Laughing

You´re welcome to visit the site whenever you like. I am working on it to make it better. You know, a caresheet here, a picture there.. And the forum is growing slowly but safely..

Do you keep any of your European stuff outside at all Morbid? That`s something I would love to have a go at one day.

Not yet.. But I´m hoping to build at least one outdoorviv this summer, for the Hyla arborea. But for the snakes.. No.. I don´t like the idea of keeping them outdoor, just because I only keep (for the moment..) venomous species. And maybe in time, I´ll build something for some Podarcis sp..

Worse than Garlic, about ten times worse. Have you ever caught one Memememe? They "musk" all over you and thrash about whilst doing it so it ets everywhere. It STINKS! Then after the initial capture they calm down and are a pleasure to handle. Viperine snakes would be the ones to keep outside, beautiful.
Morbid, I`ve always fancied a green house for Hyla aborea since I was a child. They were my first non-native captive frogs as a 12 year old! Great frogs.

Beware of the "sprayers".. Laughing If a Natrix spray you, it is very hard to get rid of the smell. But if you are careful, it woun´t spray.

The H. arborea is really nice.. Have a group of 8 animals. I´m trying to breed them this year, but indoors. Don´t know if it really works though..
