Hi, check this link for an earlier thread on the subject http://www.captivebred.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2638
I had some when I was a kid, and now I have a pair of two thirds grown females which I only have had less than a week. They are a love `em or hate `em species really and definately not for handling (of course there are exceptions to the rule). A lot of people don`t like them for that reason and for others they are too "common" but I think they`re great.
My too were both feeding the evening of their arrival and were great to watch again last night with their acrobatics at feeding time. Their viv is heated with an infra red bulb on a dimmer stat which is in a mesh cage which allows me to watch them at night. I am really glad I got some again and I would say go for it. As long as you are up for observing rather than handling . Mine are already getting used to my presence already and I predict that they will be taking food from my fingers soon.
Best of luck to you _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD
