Could anyone please tell me what sort of fly this is please?
Even better if anyone can tell me it's nutritional value, are they high protein content?

Sometimes do you ever get that feeling that you wish you had never asked a question?
I think thye could be house flies? They came from fishing tackle shop as maggots. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

Ok I am dead impressed with the flies. They are dead cheap, all my herps go mad for them. Even my FBT'S love them!
They are cheap and very easy to keep. Just put them in a few cricket tubs. Touch of maize mixed with some nutrabol or whatever. Then they turn into chrysalis. Then stick all tubs in cool place keep a couple of tubs in warm place. This will stagger the hatching. Just bring in a new tub to the warm every few days as required. Easy to handle when they first hatch out as quite sluggish!
I have had loads of feeds off them so far and still have 10 tubs left. All out of one pint off maggots for £2! For that price it's not even worth bothering culturing them.
All I need to do know is find out the nutrional content. Can anyone help with this please? _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

They aren`t green bottles. Probably house flies, unless you are pioneering the black bottle Rick. I thought you preferred cans? _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD
