I lowered my pixels and put some shots of my 4 ackies - had them a year and think one may be gravid - in comparison to the others - as the largest is a lot more square jawed and I think it is the male - not too sure really. Somehow I cannot seem to get more pics on the same post - I have one of the fatty. |

Some more pics now that I have web enabled the photos.
they have really got me hooked on monitors, and my care/rewards have increase after receiving and reviewing a lot of data I have found on the forum - just need to convert my garage and relocate them - and hope I can get them to breed/lay some eggs soon.
Cheers

The biggest I would say is around 16-17 inches and is a lot more poweful then I expected.
As a side point the largest is now essesivly burrowing in the tub I have with peat and playsand, whereas over the last few weeks they have only moved a bit at the edges - hopefully I may get some eggs?
I have had them since they were perhaps 3-5 months old, and they cam from different broods - growth was slow/medium until I started feeding pinkies and they have really matured the last 3 months. They go through 100 pinkies, 2-300 medium crickets per month and handfed wax worms (which has helped tame them).
When they started to grow they did get into a pecking order and did fight a bit - but they was no injuries - but a lot of mounting (sounds like a night out round here) - basically they have been everything I wanted from keeping them.
cheers
