Never ever do what I have just done.
Franz F. likes to come out of his viv have a nose around and generally do odd things, yesterday when he came out he attacked my blue cleaning cloth that was on my work desk! Don't ask me why? He is just such a charecter! He grabbed it in his mouth and was tossing it left to right! Wish I had the camera handy! Typical the batteries were on charge! (reminder buy spare rechargeable batteries).
Today I opened up his viv so he could wander out as he does.
I had to leave the room for five minutes and he had not yet ventured out. I forgot to close the viv door b4 going out of the room! Big mistake!
I came back and immediately realized that I had left the door open on the viv.
The window was open in my work / rep room.
He was not in the viv, the first thing I did was look out of the window as he could climb up to it as my desk is in front of it with books on etc.
I eventually found him sitting on top of one of the locust tanks! Quite calm, I swear he was grinning at me! My blood pressure is only just returning to normal, lesson learnt!
Phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww is all I can say, and perhaps what a div I am for letting a potentially dangerous thing like that happen!

Sounds like Franz F. is quite the character. How did you come up with his name? |

The name seems to suit him for some reason, not to sure why. He is quite frenetic as is Franz Ferdinand (the singer) so it just seemed to fit.
It also makes me think of a stern male figure / charecter, Franz is the opposite of this, so again in a contrarian way it fits him.
Contrarian logic also appeals to me! _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk
