when she is coiled up she look mahooosive when she is cruising she dont look that big? is that normal?? She refused food again and that makes 11 weeks now without a feed! yet is discernable larger than we started?? When she curled slightly I took these side shots which show space between the scales. For the last 2+ months she has sat all curled up now she is cruising the viv is this a sign she is nearly ready to go?? plus her tail area has thinned right down!! sorry for all the Q's never bred em before!!! and no I have no seen any waxy plug anywhere!!
still got the 180 degree tail
couple of mid body side shots!

Just from reading a few other posts on this part of the forum lead me to this post.
http://www.captivebred.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2411
It mentions the bent tail position being a symptom of your Boa being gravid (egg bearing). It would be a good idea to do some research on what conditions would be best for your Boa to lay in, and supply them for her. |

She looks big enough to me. Don`t think you will need to provide an egg laying site though! _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

Do you know the ages of both animals? Whether the E bay boa is a first timer? Loads of other factors to consider too. _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

Maybe it`s something simple like one being full, and the other not so full. Fingers crossed for you anyway. _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD
