Hi,
Here's a couple of pix of my new addition to be.
He is underweight and his tail isnt as round as it should be, also appears to be dehydrated.
So a couple of questions ???
Whats the best way of getting weight and fat reserves back into tail/body.
Type of food ?? without getting him obese.
Should I use Reptoboost or similar in drinking water.
These pix were taken a few hrs earlier by my friend who is going to bring him over next week.
He had been at friends house 10 mins and was offered 8 fluff mice, which he devoured immediately, followed by a sliced up chick.
So he appetite is there, should I therefor feed him everyother day ?? till weight increases then reduce that to 2 times a week.
He's aslo very active and nosey, so dont think there is anything seriously wrong with him but will be checked out by vet anyway.
Thanks in advance.

I would stick to a rodent diet until he is in good condition, then balance his weight by offering locust and rodents depending on how he looks.
Nice lizard, have fun. _________________

If it were me I'd try and use feeder insects as much as possible, with rodents say once a week. If you use large meaty roaches and king mealworms I'm sure he'll put on weight fast enough.
