i know that ive only had my chameleons a week and im still learning but ive got a good tip for soaking up the water at the bottom of your viv. before you spray get some paper towels scrunch them up and place in the bottom of your viv then when you spray all the excess water gets soaked up by the paper towels. now i dont have to worry about my viv getting flooded |

yep, I used to use a similar principle. I would place a plastic tub on the viv floor under where the water would drip down to, in this tub I pub a large sponge, this meant it would soak up a large volume of water without the risk of the chameleon falling in and drowning (or the feeder insects). I could then just squeeze it out every few days. It also helped boost the humidity a little. _________________

Good tips, and there was i SUCKING it up through a straw!
Seriously they are both good tips and simple to implement, I must admit I had not even thought of doing it that way!
