yes, have one boiga cyanea. Hopefully getting a mangrove snake later this year and am getting one or more of the following this year to - Boiga blandingii, Boiga nigriceps and Boiga cynodon. Not bragging but I was bitten by my friends boiga nigriceps a few months back, no ill effects so I dont think it got a good bite in:-)

heres a list I found of boiga(I added lots myself)

Boiga andamanensis (Wall, 1909)
Boiga angulata (Peters, 1851)
Boiga barnesii (Günther, 1869)
Boiga beddomei (Wall, 1909)
Boiga bengkuluensis (Orlov, Kudryavtzev, Ryabov & Shumaov, 2003)
Boiga blandingii (Hallowell, 1844)
Boiga bourreti Tillack, Ziegler & Khac Quyet, 2004
Boiga ceylonensis (Günther, 1858)
Boiga cyanea (Duméril, Bibron & Duméril, 1854)
Boiga cynodon (Drinks, 1827)
Boiga dendrophila (Drinks, 1827)
Boiga dightoni (Baker, 1894)
Boiga drapiezii (Drinks, 1827)
Boiga forsteni (Duméril, Bibron & Duméril, 1854)
Boiga fusca (Gray, 1842)
Boiga gokool (Gray, 1835)
Boiga guangxiensis Wen, 1998
Boiga irregularis (Merrem, 1820)
Boiga jaspidea (Duméril, Bibron & Duméril, 1854)
Boiga kraepelini Stejneger, 1902
Boiga multifasciata (Blyth, 1861)
Boiga multomaculata (Drinks, 1827)
Boiga nigriceps (Günther, 1863)
Boiga nuchalis (Günther, 1875)
Boiga ocellata Kroon, 1973
Boiga ochracea (Günther, 1868)
Boiga philippina (Peters, 1867)
Boiga pulverulenta (Fisher, 1856)
Boiga quincunciata (Wall, 1908)
Boiga saengsomi (Nutaphang, 1985 )
Boiga schultzei Taylor, 1923
Boiga trigonota (Schneider, 1802)
Boiga tanahjampeana Orlov & Ryabov, 2002
Boiga wallachi Das, 1998

my fave sp of snake I would say, would love a brown tree snake but dont see that happening any time soon, about as much chance as me getting a sydney funnel web:-)

which boiga you considering? btw Boiga saengsomi is gorgeous, try to find a pic else I can email you one....stunning.

Try the EMBL reptile database for more scientific descriptions on Boiga, as for husbandry I guess its still pretty unknown. Few people are keeping them still, it seems bar cyanea and dendrophila, and even fewer are taking the time to set up breeding projects however thats starting to change. Theres also a fuller species list on EMBL:

I knew that you were getting some Blandingii for obvious reasons, but didn't realise that you are also planning on getting other boiga.

Good luck with the cynodon, really are a cool species wish I could have got some off you. Shame you're too far away and I'm in the middle of nowhere Laughing

Ive checked the database and havent found any new info, but thanks anyway.
I have wild caught cynodon and nigraceps which Im working on getting feeding right now. Ive had some great advice from a friend of a friend, and some success so far.
Theyre not in too bad condition either.

As I said there isn't much if any information in the way of husbandry, as you would expect it is scarce. But it is a good place to refer to for pictures/taxonomic references Cool

Blandingii is no longer Boiga. They are now in the genus Toxicodryas. Ive heard the effects of a bite are quite serious. Kept nigiceps, cyanea, cynadon, irregularis, looking to aquire Toxicodryas blandingii
