Scott you can have a box of small crickets!
Brought them for Cody, put two in the tank last night for him.. and one somehow (god knows how) got out!!!
Jon spotted it on the outside of the tank where the wires come out (but the hole for those is tiny?!)
So that's the end of those for now!!!
Ewwwwwwwww! I hate any bugs at the best of times, let alone crickets!

Yes that was a fun task at 11:30pm
Its a shame because i would like to continue feeding Cody with crickets.....but i cant afford for another escapee on the offchance that my mum will find it before me.....if that happens all hell will break loose! As Sarah just said though we are gobsmacked on how it squeezed out of the tiny hole where the mains cables go through! |

What size crickets are you feeding? yours will take standard brown crickets.
Also, he should be fine if you use CGD 100% but you will need to slowly wean him off mixing CGD with baby food as it upsets the balance of the ingredients (not a problem when feeding crickets as well).
I no longer have any cricket eaters in the house so the problem of escapees running around has gone but I must admit my garden sounds like a tropical island during the summer....loads of crickets out there _________________

Think they're size 4 whatever that means! About 1.5cm?
*still cringing at the thought of them* |
