Might be of some use:

Homebase have some 20watt halogen desk lamps, gosseneck (can be twisted to point in any direction) various colours. You can get them as free standing or with a clamp so they can be mounted anywhere.

Good for baby chams, provide a decent basking spot and heat for babies in small enclosures, without over heating, just adjust temp by moving lamp forwards or back. I have used a couple of them in a room with a constant tempreture and they have provided heating all day long at a constant temp without the need to move em. If using a few use a trailing lead plugged into a timer.

I Use them for crickets / locusts to.

were £5.99 now £3.99 each. (I don't work for homebase)!
