Changed my mouse system a little last week, I now seperate a % of pregnant females and let them birth in pairs, just to see if it increases overall litter sizes. Pleased with the results so far, 49 pinks from 4 females.

If I get spare cages I'll set up a few females totally seperate to see what is the biggest litter I get....anyone had litters over 15? (normal lab mice!)

you back off your holidays now then Jas?....pm your mobile and I'll sort something out for the end of the week.

Litters are averaging over 13.

Diet is a dog biscuit. This has almost NO wastage...no dust or crumb found when cleaning out Very Happy

that's a good ave number. I have a few hybrid strains that are kicking out in their 20's but I'm not sure if that will last after f2.
