|
|
I was wondering what people feed their fat tails. So a couple of specific questions...
Anyone using roaches?
Anyone had success with mealworms left in a bowl?
When feeding pinks, do you use f/t? If so, do you just leave them in the viv, or feed them off with tongs?
Cheers,
Mark. |

Anyone using roaches? No
Anyone had success with mealworms left in a bowl? I use small Giant Mealworms
I don't use any other feeder insect at present for them, I will watch fertility etc and may go back to crickets if required. _________________

Thanks guys.
I've been using black crix about three times a week, with waxworms and pinkies as ocassionals.
TExeter, I'm guessing that you use half grown dubia nymphs?
I think I might try dubia roaches with mealies, and a view to switching these to halfgrown king meals if I ever get round to setting up a zoophobas colony. If I can wean my fat tails off crix I might be able to lose them entirely.
Does nobody use pinkies?
