Claire has beaten me to it, lol (had a rubbish couple of days sorting out my paperwork & arguing with insurance companies)

I use exactly the same, vinegar on kitchen role. The acid in the vinegar (white works best) will break down the minerals of water marks, especially if you live in a ‘hard water’ area where the concentration of calcium & magnesium in the water is really high. Vinegar works much better than any ordinary cleaner – I even use it on shower heads & faucets!!

And Ailurus - the reason the lime scale was a bit built up in Cinnie’s cage is because I didn’t want do disturb her while she’s looking for a nesting spot Wink Very Happy

Wonderful stuff is vinegar, don't know how I'd live without it, and I agree, fantastic on shower heads. It has some medical uses as well, it's good on nettle rash and stings, I found that out as my teenage daughter doesn't seem to get on with wasps very well, and falls into everything including stinging nettles Laughing I also use the vinegar ont he car windscreen, does smell a little like a chip van for a while, but shifts the grease nicely, not to mention the nicotine Rolling Eyes Embarassed Laughing

I just wipe over with the vinegar on the kitchen roll, and then polish over it afterwards with a dry piece of kitchen roll, I've had no problems so far with any of my reps with the vinegar, and any slight residue evaporates away completely very quickly. I can't think of any reason why it would do any damage to their feet. They might slide off the glass more though when it's all shiny Laughing
