These guys are very interesting to work with.

Some of our hold back yearlings are getting up in size nicely.

One female I had a look at a few days ago has started to change colour and is becomming slowly like the adult caramel form.

The babies are totally unmarked on their bellies and seem to be that way for at least a year, and now they are slowly changing !! It keeps you on the edge of your seat..will the change be as fast as some chondros??

The colour of the yearling is just as yellow on the underside as the adults, I just couldn't capture the correct colour.

Baby,

Yeah, caramel x caramel already,

Just working on caramel x normal and caramel x albino etc, if lady luck shines we will ahve an answer in a few months.

Most interesting will be caramel x normal as this will prove/disprove the real genetics behind them.

Although there is a low head count of leucistics, from 32 hatchlings only 3 hds leucistic. rest hypo or caramel depending who you listen to....LOL....
