Glad you like them - it was a magic place. The local Navajo Guide worked really hard to get the best pics for everyone - throwing sand into the sunbeam to accentuate - difficult to explain but here's an example: _________________ Connie |

Thanks Stu – there’s zillions of pics on the web of both Upper & Lower Antelope Canyon - unbeknown to me, there was also ‘Rattlesnake Canyon’ in-between the two but you could only get in on a specially authorized trip
This is one of the most photographed places in the world and was the focus of my trip. I did a lot of research on the web before we went re best camera, best time of day, best tour operator etc. Contemplated to buy a new camera just for this but opted for extra 5 days hols in the end instead. So these were taken with a bog standard Canon Power Shot A610, with a little tripod, but we were lucky enough to book on a noon trip when the sun beams into the Canyon were at their best. You wouldn’t believe the frenzy between all these guys with their mega expensive equipment trying to take the best shot….
I took over 200 pics, here’s another couple of my favs …. _________________ Connie |
