I think that we can safely say that it`s a leg pulling story from Scott (wouldn`t be the first time! ) and the video clip of the elephant going wild isn`t of Scott`s "friend" and his elephant encounter!
The footage is as real as it looks though. Anybody see that documentary series a while back, "Elephants on the rampage" or something similar?
It was about a series of attacks from wild Asiatic elephants on villages in a particularly densely populated (by humans) part of Asia, not sure where exactly. Elephants were hitting villages in seemingly organised night time raids, literally smashing the huts and houses to pieces with a number of human fatalities as a result. The gist of the progamme was that increasing encroachment by humans on the elephant`s rapidly diminishing territory was the cause of the attacks. Slightly anthropomorphic perhaps, or is it? Elephants are intelligent animals, and maybe the theory that the documentary put over shouldn`t be dismissed quite so readily. Certainly food for thought.
Hope nodody has nightmares about marauding elephants now! _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

Ohhh.
Thats good. I was getting worried then that if I went to the zoo and got too close to the elephants they was going to pick me up and bash me along some railings..
Me don't want to be bashed along railings _________________ x.Jessie.x
