with some you can see it in the belly markers. ask scott he knows more about that than i do

the most common het marker is the het pieds,the babies tend to have a clear belly with the dark lines running along the edge of the white belly scutes.the commonly have a bit of flaming on the sides too.the only snag is that normals can have the exact same marking too

You still get het pieds with out the belly marker.

yep het pieds are the easiest to spot BUT having the 'markers' doesn't guarantee it's a het pied but if the breeding was a het pied x het pied you would certainly pick the ones with the markers over the normal ones (although as Royal Crazy says not all het pieds have 'markers' either Laughing )


I was also shown a marker for Het stripes BUT 2 out of my 3 100% het stripes DON'T have these markers so either it's not 100% correct or my het stripes aren't het stripes Sad
