Last year I bred my Basin emeralds for the first time. I traded two of my offspring for unrelated animals. Must say I'm quite happy with the trade Both have a full thick stripe, which I like in my basins
new male
new female
If you like emeralds, Basins are the way to go, better feeders, more robust and calmer then Guyana shield animals. Worth the extra money IMHO. _________________ Please visit Ron's Reptiles to see my collection

Very cool snakes Ron. What is the temperament of Amazon Basin ETBs like?

Thanks guys, I'm very happy with them, especially since I got the better part of the deal
Basins are very much calmer than Suriname emeralds. I still wouldn't put my hand in there at night, but during the day you can free handle them. Must say the size of their teeth still makes me apprehensive though And cleaning the cage is no problem at all, no worries about aggression, if anything they'll hide their head when disturbed. _________________ Please visit Ron's Reptiles to see my collection
