Dont know if this will help Chris, i tend to defrost on top of the tubs, then i dip the heads directly into boiling water for a few seconds then dry off on kitchen towel, the heads are super hot. My lot so far have struck at them like trains _________________

Hi Chris,
Having looked at your set ups, if I were you I may be inclined to lose the cereal box as hides and get a couple of more snug secure hides for them both.
I'd have one in the warm end and one in the cool end of each tub.
I see they are housed in tubs with a heat mat underneath the one end. How else do you heat the rest of the tub and what is the air temperature? Only reason I ask is that the humidity looks high judging by the water vapour on the sides and if the air temp is low with humidity up high, that can lead to URI's.
Ideally, humidty should be around the 50 - 60% mark. _________________ "When i'm a big boy I wanna avatar like Johonny. lmao and rofl" |

they were put on top for the pic, there normal underneath in the rack
room 74ish around the racks bit more,
the humidy being rasied by incresing the size of the waterbowels,
which they had knock over
in nut shell there kept the same as my other royals, but with the bigger waterbowels,
so would say there being kept right
just cant get these to feed ......yet
cheers for the pointer tho m8 _________________ tarantula collection for sale, pm me

you'll get there Chris.
I like those tubs you have them in. Are they the really useful one's from Argos?
Have they always been on rats, or were they once on mice? My little girl is quite shy when I offer her a rat but always nails the mice. _________________ "When i'm a big boy I wanna avatar like Johonny. lmao and rofl" |
