I needed to take some shots of Red eyed tree frogs to accompany an article and Im quite pleased with the results. I used my new canon 60mm, F2.8 lens. I have done nothing to these other than crop some - but not all (about half) and removed some dustspots from about 4 and resized them for the net. Which is unlike me as I usually sharpen and mess about with curves, colours and goodness knows what else.

I think the fresh air woke them up as I took them outside for photos. I love these little frogs, theyre so cute and even cuter as babies which these are.
I had to lighten these two slightly and remove the darn dustspots Evil or Very Mad

nice pictures very sharp Smile

im still learning but i thought it would be nice to see them with perhaps a slightly lower apperture, say f6. i imagine at that apperture or maybe slightly lower still (fCool the whole frog will be in focus with some bokeh going on

Cool Lovely images although I agree with Dave..a smaller aperture would have worked well on a few..tbh I would have shot these at about f11 or so maybe more..lovely focus on the eyes though..as for dust spots see my post on arctic butterfly! Cool

Thanks. I took a whole range of them with different settings, lots still to sift through, maybe some smaller apertures amongst them, not sure, I did go to f22 and f18 for some.
