Hi..question for the brainiacks, my juve male leo "gizzmo" has started to have an oily substance in/on his water in the water bowl, hes about 9 months and was 75gms at last weight in, hes a very good eater/sheader/poo-er!!
Its been like for about 6 weeks, I thought it might have been contamination from the water bowl, scrubbing it made no difference, so I changed it for a new one, still the same,
I think it may have started when I put two rescue females in the viv next door? could he be doing it? some sort of pre adult behavior?

he could be scent marking ~ one of my older leo's 'marks' his cave with an oily/waxy deposit from his pre-anal pores

the only one I have who can whiff a bit is Jed especially when he gets wind of the females .... pong ain't a word that can describe it
