Hya
I know coldblooded in rainham has them at the moment and theyre kept at their shop with no extra heating. Just lots of moss and hiding places under cork bark slabs. I have seen crickets run about so im presuming thats their diet. Ive read somewhere that theyre semi aquatic and Paul told me they are NOT very handlable and will bite. But then thats just what he said, i dont know for sure _________________ Dante (rankins dragon)

hi,
Quote: | 1. what humisity are they kept at? |
80%

|
i would say pairs to be honest
they require 85F at the hot end.
Quote: | 4. what size enclosure are they needing? |
For a pair i would say 36 x 18 x 15 inches minimum.

WC adults normally sell for about £60. CB babies are more.
a good site for croc skinks is http://tribolonotus.com
has lots of info on all aspects of their care. highly recommended
hope this helps _________________ Tom

why do you want plastic tanks?
just use wooden, or glass vivariums (not aquariums). or alternatively a large plastic box, if you can find one big enough lol.
The ones at coast to coast are most probably the red eyed crocodile skink, as that iks the most common and they ahve had them in before. if you are interested you should phone them, they are all really nice there its a good shop.
i wouldn't order them off the internet mate, its always best to go nd view the animals before you buy them. if you are adament on buying online, just shop around, i cannot think of any online suppliers who stock them.
i know that CPR has them on their website, so they have some in, and i know of another shop near heathrow that has them. Snakes n Adders also has them _________________ Tom

I've got both species at the moment T.gracilis and T.novaeguineae
1. The humidity must be kept between 80 % - 90 % during the day and at night between 80%-100%.
2. they prefer pairs. There are stories of both two males and two females in one vivarium killing each other. But i've got both species in 1.2 and there doing great. But always be careful that all the animals get enough to eat.
3 Temperatures for T.gracilis : 24-26 degrees celcius during the day. T.novaeguineae prefers temperatures a little bit higher: 25-28 degrees celcius. Heatspots don't work, never saw a trib lying under a heatspot.
4. Ehm you can keep a pair in a tank of 70cm x 40cm x 40cm.
They prices of wildcaught tribs are at the moment between €35 (about 25 pound) and 60 pound. But be carefull it is not easy to get wildcaught tribs trough the first months!! I've only been able to keep 60 % alive and that is quite a high percentage.....
I can give you a lot more information tomorrow and if you've got any question please ask.
I'm also the co studbookkeeper of a European studbook for Tribolonotus gracilis. _________________ Proud owner of

Tom and Jordi seemed to have covered everything
The one thing i will add from personal experience is try to find some that have been with an experienced supplier for a while. They will therefore had the chance to acclimatise and settle first.
