Luckily it seems the lass who hatched him is a vet herself, so likely to have a more objective head screwed on!

(Just read through again, on page 5 she says she made the decision to euthanise)


Not sure how long in days page 5 was but i def think it shouldn't have stayed alive that long. Some things just ain't meant to be and that's just not.

Don't know if i'd have wanted to "give it a chance" for that long. Poor thing was hardly eating and although her intension's might have been right...posting saying your going to hand feed it everyday and help it shed for the rest of it's life is just nonsense. No one can be that dedicated. The animal had no quality of life.

i agree with negri. sometimes we tend to keep things going for OUR sakes rather than thinking about them. although to be honest, i cant watch things suffer. but would always have my vet take care of that, with me there of course.
