Well, after my worries about the eggs being knocked and thinking they would die...I had one hatch this morning!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited Here are a few pics i managed to get of the wee one! not the best...but he is really fast!

wow congrats. i am really hoping mine breed.
How do i tell when she is gravid? and what are incubation temps and times?

lol thanks guys I love these geckos, they look like little demons especially at this age.
You can see eggs in her if you look at her underneath, two whitey blobs in her abdomen.
I incubated them at 25C and this one was laid on 10/04/08 so....about 2 months.
I use eco earth as a substrate, so she just dug a hole in the enclosure and laid there
I incubate on damp perlite too.

hi, i tried to check my female today. i put her in a cricket tub, so i could see her from below, and their were 2 slight bulges. so i got her out and held her so i could see, i read somewhere that for leos you can check if they are gravid by pushing their back slightly, i did this and 2 pronounced bulges appeared. Does this mean she is gravid or are these just her ovaries.
lol she bit me whilst i was doing this, she hates me. The male one is happy to be held, he will just sit their and then start to walk over your hand. she wil not sit still and if you hold her still she just bites you lol _________________ Tom

I seen this baby yesterday and all i could say was Wow they are so dinky and stunning ! _________________ Altogether i have a zoo of 45 scaley's and slimey's
and 6 furries
And i LOVE em all  |
