O.K. I feel stupid for asking this question but what is the difference between Western and Eastern Collared Lizards? I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that but wich is the.. err.. prettiest? Am thinking of getting one thats all and as nobody seems to have any dickersons blue I will settle for these!
Cheers,

OK so I found a collared I wish to buy. The thing is it is wild caught, is this a bad thing? I heard they dont adapt very well.
Cheers

Hi Rob,
I have just looked them up in my Lizard literature library and it says that most wild caught Collards, tend to have a preference for smaller lizards and will bite anything that moves!! This is no more than a pinch though, so don't let this put you off. They also have the usual issues with intestinal parasites and mites.
Looking at the photo's though, they look fab! They look almost toad-like!!
Good luck,
regards, Paul. _________________ 1.2.0 Bearded Dragons
